1. Ganesh visits Dinesh's house!

Ganesh and Dinesh were studying fifth standard in the same school. They became friends.

One day, Dinesh asked Ganesh, “Why don’t you come to my house this weekend? We can spend some time happily playing and doing things.”

Ganesh replied, “Yes. I like this idea. But I don’t know where your house is. So, how can I come?”

Dinesh said, “Ask your father to drop me at my house. He can pick you up after some time.”

“But my father does not know where your house is!"

“Your father can call my father over phone and and ask him to give the address.”

“But my father doesn’t know the phone number of your father. How can he call him?” asked  Ganesh.

Dinesh thought for a moment and then said, “I also don’t know my father’s phone number. Today is Thursday. When I go home in the evening, I will ask my father to write the phone number on a piece of paper and bring it tomorrow, Friday. You can give it to your father. Your father can call up my father, get our address and bring you to my house on Saturday.”

Next day, Ganesh asked Dinesh, “Did you get your phone number from your father?”

Dinesh said, “Oh, I am sorry. I forgot. I remembered it only when I saw you now!”

Ganesh was disappointed, but said, “It is ok. Bring it on Monday.”

Monday morning, Ganesh asked Dinesh, “Did you get your phone number or did you forget again?”

Dinesh said, “I didn’t forget. But, since you are going to come only on Saturday, I thought I would get the phone number on Thursday and bring it to the school on Friday.”

Friday morning, when Ganesh asked Dinesh whether he had brought the phone number, Dinesh said, “I asked my father. He wrote the number on a sheet of paper and gave it to me. But I forgot to bring it!”

Ganesh was disappointed. He even became a little angry. He decided that he won’t ask Dinesh about this again.

However, Dinesh brought the phone number on Monday and gave it to Ganesh.

Ganesh handed over the sheet of paper to his father.

Ganesh’s father called up Dinesh’s father and got his address.

The following Saturday, Ganesh’s father took Ganesh to Dinesh’s house. Ganesh and Dinesh spent time happily.

During the next weekend, Dinesh’s father took Dinesh to Ganesh’s house.

After this, the two visited each other’s house often.

The parents of Ganesh and Dinesh also became friends soon.
